Diorex made an excellent post about the topic which sums up the key reasons why I have stopped using both Google Conversions tracking and Google Analytics.

I work hard to build very profitable PPC campaigns and I just do not feel comfortable with a third party knowing the exact ROI, bidding strategy and ad copy for each of my keywords. I switched to prosper202 which is free and self hosted so nobody else has access to my campaign tracking data.
